Jonathan Olson | Esq.

green-bay-attorney-jon-olson-bioA Wisconsin native, Jon has lived in Northeastern Wisconsin since graduating from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1985. He currently lives in an historic home on the west side of Green Bay that is being restored, mainly due to the efforts of his wife, Patti. Jon is the proud father of six adult children, and grandpa to one grandson (so far!)

After starting his own law practice in 2008, Jon has reinvigorated two of his passions from his days at Coe College: philosophy and jazz. He is a founding member of the Green Bay Philosophers’ Café, a monthly public meeting dedicated to discussion of philosophical issues. Jon also brushed 29 years of dust off the tenor sax and clarinet, and now plays with several groups, including Close Enough for Jazz (a jazz trio), the NEW Dixie Ramblers (trad jazz and Dixieland), and the Fox Cities Swing Band (a 19 piece big band).

Public service and volunteer activities are also very important to Jon. He has served as a volunteer mentor with SCORE since 2008, and has conducted numerous SCORE seminars on the legal aspects of starting a new business. Recently, Jon was nominated to the On Broadway, Inc. Board of Directors, and looks forward to applying his talents to this Main Street program. He is also an active member of the Broadway Business Owners group, helping to expand the opportunities for all businesses in the Broadway District of Green Bay.
